Pushing Daisies Plot

The primary focus of Pushing Daisies is on Ned.. the piemaker.. a guy who can ressurect a dead. If Ned touches a rivived being a second time.. they die permanently; and if a person is revived for more than 1minute, somebody else nearby dies.

Episode 2 of Pushing Daisies

Ned revives Bernard Slaybaugh, an auto safety specialist who was murdered. He doesn't know who killed him but wants Ned and Chuck to tell a woman, Jeanine, that he loved her. Jeanine is a model working for a car company. Not long after she makes some revelations about Bernard, she ends up in the hospital. Ned accidentally revives a woman who died while on a Ferris Wheel and learns that she had donated her body to science. Kristin Chenoweth (Olive Snook) is slated to sing in this episode.

Lindsay Lohan checks out of Rehab

Yes, Lindsay Lohan has checked out from Rehab, in Utah that she entered last August. Lindsay Lohan left the Cirque Lodge Treatment center last Friday afternoon. Her parent said... "I'm proud of her. She's moving ahead with her life," her mother, Dina, told People Friday. "Things were getting out of control. She took action. She took responsibility. She really needed to heal."

Lohan's visit to Cirque Lodge was her third trip to rehab since January, a frenetic year in which she wrecked a Mercedes-Benz, released the box-office flop "I Know Who Killed Me" and was arrested more than once.

Lohan has been prominently in the public eye since becoming a star at 11 in the Disney film "The Parent Trap." She's also appeared in "Mean Girls," "Freaky Friday," "Herbie Fully Loaded" and numerous other films. In recent years, however, she's become better known for nonstop appearances on the Hollywood nightclub scene.

"Now that she is going out into the world, I can only hope for the best," her father, Michael Lohan, told People.

Last May, Lindsay Lohan was arrested after crasher her car into a tree in Beverly Hills, then again in July Lindsay Lohan's former personal assistant called 911 to report her car was being chased by an SUV. The chase ended in Santa Monica, where police arrested Lohan for being behind the wheel.

In both cases, Lohan was found in possession of small amounts of cocaine.

In August, she reached a plea deal on misdemeanor drunken driving and cocaine charges stemming from the arrests. The deal called for her to enter treatment, spend a day in jail and perform community service.

"It is clear to me that my life has become completely unmanageable because I am addicted to alcohol and drugs," Lohan said in a statement released by her publicist last August.

The hit ABC show gave Albert Reed his walking papers Monday, making him the second contestant to be burned by the ominous red spotlight.

The Abercrombie & Fitch cover boy's Dancing demise came as a shock both to the judges, who had awarded his quickstep a 21 and dubbed him the "dark horse" of the competition, and the audience, which was obviously sorry to see the fresh-faced 27-year-old go.

"I'm a little stunned, but we did the best we could," Albert Reed, who dedicated his Monday performance to his late grandfather, said after hearing the news. "That's all you can ask for." So unlike last week, when viewers gave the low-scoring Josie Maran the boot, the at-home votes didn't coincide with the judges' critiques this time around. Albert Reed was joined in the bottom two, however, by Wayne Newton, whose 15 was the lowest score of the night Monday. "Too slow for a quickstep," Bruno Tonioli said about Mr. Las Vegas' latest spin around the floor, which made up with charm what it lacked in speed and technical proficiency. Avoiding the glare this week was Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, whose energetic mambo actually looked as if it deserved better than the 18 it received from the judges.
Tonioli compared him to "a bulldog chasing a squirrel" and Carrie Ann Inaba pointed out that his "face was dancing twice as hard" as his body, but the 49-year-old entrepreneur, who ended up in the bottom two last week, was in the clear tonight. And although she's been told to work on her ballroom posture, Jennie Garth was still standing tall at the end of the night despite the spill she took with partner Derek Hough during her quickstep, which apparently only endeared them to the fans at home. Meanwhile, the stars to beat are still Helio Castroneves and Sabrina Bryan, who switched places on the leaderboard Monday but otherwise remained toe-to-toe in the judge's minds. Castroneves' encore-worthy mambo merited the season's first 27, not to mention comments like "real deal" and "exhilarating hot rod" (the latter being Tonioli's, of course). And Bryan's quickstep left her hip-hop days in the dust. The bubbly blonde turned in a "blistering performance," each step "filled with vibrancy," according to the pleasantly surprised judges, who had wondered whether her success with the Latin cha-cha would extend to the stricter ballroom stylings of ballroom. Marie Osmond, who will be 48 later this month, was right up there with the young punks with a 24. While it's still her performance abilities that are winning her extra kudos from the judges, Inaba called her "one hot cougar" and Len Goodman deemed her mambo with partner Jonathan Roberts "absolutely great." New mom Melanie Brown, who couldn't have been too unhappy to learn that tickets for an upcoming Spice Girls reunion concert in London sold out in 38 seconds, also was pleased to discover that she wasn't going home.

Britney Spears Loses Sons’ Custody to Ex-Husband Kevin Federline

The 25 year old pop star, Britney Spears has lost custody of her two sons Sean Preston, and Jayden James to her ex husband Kevin Federline. Last month the court ordered Britney Spears to undergo a random drug and alcohol test twice a week and found out that Spears was engaged in "habitual" used of controlled substance and alcohol.

Recently the court also charged Britney Spears with misdemeanor counts of hit-and-run driving and driving without a license after she hit another car in a parking lot in August. And one of her former bodyguards, Tony Barretto, spoke out in recent weeks about seeing her take drugs on two occasions in a nightclub.
